Crazy, inky almost black hue with aromas of sweet dark berry bonbon creams hints of mint and jellied cranberry sauce.
Palate-Rich, opulent, intense dark black berry with a lingering stewed fruit berry finish.
This will be our turkey dinner pairing and it will be great! Jettison the old myth about white wine with poultry and red for beef etc. Thanksgiving dinner needs a bold, red wine to challenge all the intense spices that abound in all the dishes. I paid around $14 for this but it runs a bit higher most places. If you like old world, subdued subtle reds you won’t care for this one; it’s the polar opposite. But if you like a fruit bomb this is a nice wine so raise a glass!
