Intense black cherry/cranberry jelly hue steady to the rim

Bouquet–A little stingy on the bouquet on opening but ripe dark black berry and plum are prominent with menthol, and cedar fighting their way out

Palate–Supple texture with integrated bold blackberry, tar, big spiciness and a lingering bold dark berry finish

This is the last of what was probably a 2 case allotment which I got for a steal around $15 a bottle selling for around twice that. This single vineyard treasure from when Rosenblum was the king of Zinfandel isn’t showing any hint of lapsing into old age.  It is as vibrant and robust as the first time I tasted it. The Wine Enthusiast gave this wine 86 points.  I give this Zin 91 sop raise a glass if you have the fortune to find one.
