Tasting notes:

Lemon and lychee aromas on the nose

Medium bodied on the palate

Finishes with lemon-lime and pineapple layers

Summary:

This wine has a good, flavorful profile and should prove to be versatile with a variety of appetizers and dishes. Albarino, from Northern Spain in the Rias Baixas region, is a lively and flavorful white wine. Find a good value bottle like this at $11 or so and you’ll be pleased. Also, it will take you off the beaten path of the more common white varietals that you probably see over and over again this time of year. Recommended, so raise a glass!
