Lighter cherry hue with an amazing big front aroma of toasted cumin! I don’t believe I have ever used that abut a wine’s bouquet  before but it was unmistakable. The cumin aroma lasted about 1/2 hour giving way to a more citrusy red-grapefruit fragrance. At the $10 price point, the wine is just a value all the way around.  Classic spicy Zinfandel berry notes through and through.

Palate–A tad watery on the palate but only as a first impression which quickly gives way to a full blown Zin with coca notes under the spicy red berries making a great accompaniment to stronger cheeses and grilled foods.

At $9 this California sourced Zin is a perennial value so raise a glass!
