Nice fire engine red hue with aromas of rustic cherry, a hint of black licorice, and sweet cherry cream bon-bons.
Palate–Vibrant acidic structure on a foundation of dry powdered cherry with rustic pie cherries, cream and savory spice with a lasting finish.
I bought this and several more bottles on a great deal paying around $12 each I believe. This wine sold around the $20 price point and was a nice wine at that price. It shows classic Sangiovese profile with that acidic cherry base making it a great food wine. If you see one grab it; it’s still drinking very well and should hold another 2-3 years. Raise a glass!
