Tasting notes:

Spicy cherry and earth on the nose

Full bodied on the palate

Finishes with layered cherry, licorice, spice, and earth

Summary:

I paid just $8 for this beauty. It’s hard to find a wine at that price which really shows its origin and sense of place. In this case, Tuscany comes through in every way, and it shows off like a much more expensive wine. Made mostly from Sangiovese, this producer also makes a nice Brunello at a fair price. Raise a glass!
