Cherry hue with aromas of creamy milk chocolate (fleeting) and strawberry/red raspberry bonbons. Sweet spices are prominent with dusty mineral hint at the edges.
Palate–a bit tightly wound with a citrusy impression mid palate, hopefully it will open.
OK I am not very experienced with Burgundy ($$$) and this is not an expensive one ($60 although I pad $32). I am not impressed with the price of this bottle and what you get. I have had domestic Pinot’s, better for less, much less. Burgundy infatuation??? I would gladly pay $18 for this wine but not $32 and definitely not $60. You be the judge!
