Gentle golden hue

Bouquet–Light lemon and lime with slight vanilla notes with overall sense of age coming through.

Palate–Nice acidic backbone carrying aging lemon, subtle vanilla, a hint of angostura bitters, with lychee and and fairly quick finish.

This Sonoma Chard runs around $30 but I think the store I got it from for $13 is dumping precisely because it has the tell tale aromas of a wine that is going down hill. Byut that doesn’t mean it is bad; in fact if you can find it, snatch it , especially for $13 and enjoy the beauty of an aging wine. Pairing it with Lobster and raising a glass!
