This ruby Spanish creation has aromas of vibrant red cinnamon red hots, with Asian spices, fruity red berries and bright red hard candies
Palate–Nice first impression of vibrant cherries and spiced apples (like the kind you get at Thanksgiving time) sitting on a “sweet” frame with a brief but fun candy apple finish.
Wow–this is a FUN wine which is surprising since I paid $5 for it and I have never seen anything really but Spanish sparkling wine from Freixenet (pronounced FRESH a net) so I had to grab it. This would make a stellar summer quaff chilled down and would go with all kinds of dishes and appetizers. I am even thinking “Sangria” as this would make a great base to which you add all the different fruits. If you see this around, grab one and see what you think as we raise a glass!
